Picked up 2 and was on my to start a thread but thread started. Yes you can brake it down and take all the pieces and return them. I did that last year with all my PS3's. I had something like 15 bundles from Wally World and it was a headache but it worked. Just sucked that the PS3 thing did not pan out LOL. Anyway I just hope they get here swiftly.

Actually the PS3 worked out better than any system ive sold and ive sold them all since the Nintendo 64. I ended up with 57 PS3's on launch night/morning. All were listed the night prior to the release, and all were for 1 day auction, I started all the buy it nows at $9,000 so no one would bid on them before I found out how many I actually ended up with. Around 9-10 am when I had a positive count on what I had on hand, I just started revising my auctions so that I was in the lowest 5% of all buy it nows. From 9am-noon most sold between $2,800-$3,200, between noon-2pm it was about $2,500-$2,800, between 2pm-4pm it was $1,900-$2,500, and by 6pm I had all the units sold via buy it now with immediate payment required, with the lowest ones going for $1,750. I never left my computer once during that time except to use the bathroom, I didnt even eat, just constantly refreshing and revising my auctions and answering emails. After all was said and done with eBay fees, paypal fees, and payments i made to people who stood in line, I cleared just over $82,000.

I learned my lesson with the PS2 in 2000. I bought 5 on release day, sold 2 the same day on eBay for $1,200 each, kept 1 for myself, and decided that I would wait until the week before Christmas to sell the other 2, my logic being the demand can only increase. WRONG. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER wait to sell a newly released game system. EVER. You get the most money on the first day and it only goes down from there, I have sold every single system you can think of, and it NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER goes back up. This is a word of wisdom to the people who think like I thought. When the next ps4, xbox720, wiimii comes out, DO NOT HOLD IT. Sell right away. Anyways the 2 PS2's that I kept to sell the week before Christmas fetched $375 and $400 =(

Side Note: I shipped all the PS3's that same Friday via UPS Overnight with Saturday delivery, the market dropped nearly 50% by the end of that first day, and I knew it would only go down over the weekend.
